First time making Yogurt
I believe that this is a good product, there seems to be a bit of a learning process for me since I am using fresh raw Jersey cow milkI followed the directions to the tee, but it turned out like a thick gravy. A little bit of research told me that fresh raw milk was good at producing this texture. They suggested adding either pectin or cologne to the milk when it's heating before adding the culture and allowing for the blum. Other than that, it tasted really good.

1st batch is excellent
My first batch has created this light yogurt that I was craving: very different from the creamy ones you find in store (“Greek yogurt” style, semi-liquid) the yogurt I got are solid and light even with whole milk. The taste is good and I hope to be able to create more different type (1st batch was plain)!starting from there.Thanks!

Inconsistent results
I have used three packets. The first one everything worked the way it was supposed to. The second one the yogurt came out a little runny. The third one I got ruined milk. Something's wrong with this lot or something because it's so inconsistent. Do not recommend.

You'll want to keep this on hand!
Sets up well. Not expensive at all. I think this is a better buy than any other cultures out there. Yogurt comes out tasty and smooth. I actually have this product on subscribe and save as our family eats a great deal of homemade yogurt.

DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LABLE OR YOU WILL RUIN YOUR YOGURT.
I had never made yogurt before buying this, but my doctor insists that I need to eat yogurt, and it must be sugar free. Try and find that in the store!I just bought a small yogurt making machine and needed a sugar free culture to start with, turns out that there is no such thing but this is low in sugar so I used it.I used this yogurt starter culture and a half gallon of half and half and set out to make yogurt.DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LABLE OR YOU WILL RUIN YOUR YOGURT. It says to BOIL your milk for 30 minutes. NEVER BOIL YOUR MILK. It also says to heat it to 80C that is what you want to do and keep it at 80C for 30 minutes to kill any bacteria that may interfere with this culture.After the half and half was at the proper temp top ferment I put it in my yogurt maker and left it alone.The yogurt came out extremely smooth (because I used half and half) and mildly tangy. I have NEVER liked plain yogurt and it always needed sweetening and fruit to make it tolerable. I LOVE THIS YOUGURT AND PREFER TO EAT IT PLAIN!If they had written the instructions correctly so that a person did not waste half a gallon of half and half by boiling it, I would have given this 5 stars. Perhaps I am petty, perhaps they need to write the instructions correctly.

ABSOLUTELY SATISFIED
My girlfriend asked me to try & review her machine which i never in my life made yogurt. Me having spine surgery 2 weeks ago didn't have yogurt on my list to eat and its been jello & creamy soups so why not, let's go. So researched i decided let's try this started. WOW!!! Game changer. I followed the directions, real simple, no hassle. The taste is great plain, its thick. I feel i aced it. For me im really excited about this new yogurt venture. Awesome product. Definitely recommend.

Makes great yogurt.
I have made two batches with my universal probiotic yogurt maker, and the results have been perfect with this product.

Buy with confidence. This Yogurt starter made amazing yogurt. The finished batch is thick and creamy, like Greek Yogurt without straining at all. Great product!
