I bought this item several years ago, but just rating it in early 2025. Since I've had the item I've used it quite a bit. I originally bought it for office use, but following COVID it became a room home humidifier, where it functions admirably. Due to longstanding issues with dry eye, I have a need to try to keep the air somewhat humid to try to ease the condition, and the unit has worked nicely. Since I originally bought this for office use I was looking for something with a really compact footprint and this fit the bill. Even now at home, though the fairly compact size of the tank means it needs to be refilled relatively frequently (certainly more frequently than the many available units with larger tanks) I still appreciate its small footprint. I've also not had the issues cleaning this unit that I've had in the past with humidifiers.

Nice little humidifier; however it's best for a small room (10x10 foot room). It's very quiet and it will go for a day and a half on high before it runs out of water. Humidity level is okay. It doesn't make your room feel like a swamp or anything.

We had never used a humidifier but suffer from allergies/dryness and decided to give one a shot--primarily for use while sleeping. Our room isn't very big so we bought this little unit. It really has made a difference. We both wake up feeling relieved of the symptoms that we've suffered. It's not a cure, obviously, but it helps quite a bit. I would have spent the money long ago had I known--it really is a small price to pay for more pleasant sleeping/mornings. The MistAire Silver looks really nice--I prefer the smoky grey to the blue color. It's got a small footprint and fits nicely on a little lamp table near the foot of the bed. The multiple settings are good to have (high/low vapor production & light on/off) as I sometimes like the glow but prefer it off while sleeping. The low mist setting is more than sufficient for our bedroom (13'x10'). It's easy to clean, which was a slight concern as I wasn't trying to add another chore to my schedule. We use distilled water to minimize mineralization and the MistAire uses this water efficiently. Build quality: A couple of weeks ago I knocked the humidifier off the table. It was filled with water--heavy--and took a brutal bounce off the hardwood floor. I unplugged the unit and examined it. The tank had a couple hairline cracks but held water fine--it's thick, pretty solid plastic. The unit, itself, suffered minor cosmetic blemishes but wasn't rattling, at least. I plugged it back in, pressed the button and was very happy to have that smooth plume of mist hit me in the face. It's been working just fine since. The MistAire Silver is good, affordable choice if you're looking for a humidifier for a small to medium sized room. I'd buy again, no question.

It works as described. It is totally silent while operating. Stream of mist has two choices. Hopefully it will continue to work as it does now.Giving it a four only because I just got it yesterday.

I first bought this from another store and loved it so much. Im so glad they had this humidifier on amazon because I couldn't find this particular one anymore. My first one is still going strong after three years and this one works just as well. It comes in handy during dry winter seasons when the heat is on full blast and it's amazing during cold season to fight off colds. Highly recommend.

This humidifier is great! It's definitely smaller than I thought but it does it's job, and well! It has a low and high setting and gives you the option to have a nightlight on (we personally don't use it). It runs for about 8 hours on the high setting before going empty. Definitely has a great mist that flows out. It works well for medium sized rooms (no larger than 250 sq feet probably). Easy to clean the tank portion.I have a pretty noteable problem with this humidifier though. There is no easy way to clean the mist tunnel and spout. I looked into the tunnel with my flashlight and saw pink mold in in the tippy top of the tube, right where the spout is. It was a real pain to clean which included us trying to seal the hole at the top so that some bleach water could soak it out, as a bottle brush wouldn't get into the crevices. There is no way to remove the cap, and no instructions on how to properly clean the tunnel or spout. I even asked how to clean it on Amazon question section and of all of the many people who bought this product, I received no responses. My assumption is no one else has a clue how to clean it either!

Great little unit and super quiet! Beside my bed as winter dry air help not just me but my cat too. He loves it and sits beside it and enjoys the mist. Super fine mist. I cut a foam drawer liner 1/2 size of night stand and works great. Nothing gets through to wood and no moisture on foam. Just a precaution just in case
