Great unit
It is being used for a one bedroom apt. The unit was easy to instal(professionals). It is cost effective and has done a great job for heat and air. Love this unit

Bad Customer Service and refuse to replace bad unit. BUYER BEWARE
After 3 months installation, I spent a total of $1,092.54 for adding freon and for troubleshooting services from licensed company. Cooper&Hunter refuses to replace bad unit even with proof from licensed company saying it's a bad unit. I paid $500 for isolation test and Cooper&Hunter refuses to accept this troubleshooting method. They require die test but licensed company said die test will definitely destroy the unit. I bought 2 units from Cooper&Hunter and 1 out of 5 air handlers go bad and they would not send a replacement. Bad customer service and absolutely no customer care at all. Very unhappy with how they are handling this situation. They really don't care. The seller isn't helping much either.

Can't heat one side and cool on the other
Installed in our garage/apartment conversion last year and it works great in the winter and summer! But when you need cooling in the day and heat at night, this unit struggles. The two inside units cannot heat one side and cool the other. so AUTO mode will causes problems every time. Rather then one side just picking what it should do and delaying the other unit... It just gives up and throws an error code. STUPID!Also, when installing, remember to open all FOUR shut-off valves. 2 on the high pressure side and 2 on the low pressure side.

Match the mode on both units or temp issues
If one unit is set to cool or heat then both units must be on cool or heat mode.For ex. Cannot have one set to auto cool mode at 73 and the other set to cool mode at 73 as will get both out of whack.

Super easy to install, looks great, work great, super quiet.

Line set sent was incorrect
Seems to be running fine so far, biggest gripe was one of the line sets came in as 1/2 inch & 1/4. Both evaps are 3/8 and 1/4 inch as well as the flare stubs on the CU. As a 40 year retired HVAC Tech , I made it work but for someone thinking this was a do it yourself project , just be aware . The only other thing I didn’t like was the quality of the copper in the line set was poor.
