Bootstrap Farmer 1010 1.25" Tray with Hole 60 Pack

What I like about these shallow 10x10 trays is the ease of growing a variety of greens in the same footprint as a 1020 tray, in quantities that we can use in a couple days so we are always getting fresh microgreens.I bought a 10 pack of no-hole trays hoping but not knowing if they would fit in my bootstrap 10x20 trays. While they fit great at the top, it leaves a 1-1/2" gap between the bottom of the 1010 and the bottom of the 1020. By adding the holes to 4 of the 1010 trays I purchased(I used a soldering iron), I have enough trays for 4 batches, 2 in blackout while the other 2 are finishing off under the grow lights with a no hole tray for watering under each. 2 no-hole trays are left for blackout/weighted microgreen seed start trays. I put those 2 setups in a single 1020 bootstrap tray for convenience to move around when I have one to spare. These new low profile trays are going to make it so much easier to harvest microgreens than the 2-1/2" trays I have been using. And of course, if you are familiar with Bootstrap trays, these are of the same heavier/tougher construction that will last for many years, if not a lifetime. I always put a bootstrap tray under all my inferior lighter weight trays so I can carry them without fear of having the tray cracking or seedling starts falling out. This is going to work perfectly for us.

Easy to use, super sturdy, so much better than anything I have purchased previously. Will definitely be purchasing 1020s in the future!

It’s sturdy sure, but it’s not what’s advertised nor what I paid for and ordered.The trays are 2” deep and have no holes in them.Needless to say, pretty dissatisfied.

I ordered the 10 pack of 1010s with holes and got the 1010s WITHOUT holes. The sticker on the trays even says with holes, but they clearly have mone. Not what I needed or wanted. They look sturdy.

I wanted holes. I discovered there are not holes. There was a label on the stack of trays that describe them with holes, but it was covering the original label that you can still read. No holes in the original label. How many bad reviews before they fix it? Remains to be seen. I'm keeping the hole-less trays since I already got them dirty and they will be useful in the future. Very nice trays, just not what I ordered.

These are easily the best trays I have ever purchased. These are not thin easily breakable cheap plastic trays. You’ll leave these to your children or friends in your will. Generations from now will still be using these. People will comment in the future about how great these are and why trays today aren’t made like these.Buy them if you need them. You won’t find a better tray.
