Excellent product. The glass container makes it safer to have near a stove or oven and even when camping as there's no possibility for any plastic to heat up and 'gas off' or melt. The jar is thick and sturdy, never had one break even when accidentally dropped. Took this camping to add to French toast & oatmeal. Didn't eat any oatmeal on that trip but the French toast was a hit. My recipe: sourdough bread, eggs, vanilla, milk and Simply Organic's Ceylon Cinnamon. I cooked it with ghee in a cast iron skillet on the camp stove. Yum. Very high quality, has health benefits tastes great and is an ingredient I frequently use.Ceylon cinnamon is often called "true cinnamon" for good reason. The Ceylon Cinnamon smells great. The taste however is very different from Saigon cinnamon cassia. This cinnamon tastes more pungent and spicy compared to the Saigon variety which is sweeter and tastier.My sugar cravings seem to have reduced a bit after using this in coffee and cereal. I don’t seem to miss the sugary taste in these items! I am hoping to use this cinnamon sprinkled on every meal I have! The taste needs getting used to.

I had know idea there was a cinnamon like this. I always assumed regular store bought was all there was. I was watching a health you tube video and it talked about this name of cinnamon and how healthy it was, ok I thought I'll try it. You won't believe the difference. Amazing. Now I take a small amount of this cinnamon with organic honey every day. Try it, you'll see a healthy difference.

I really like the taste of this cinnamon and I appreciate that it is organic. Would like to be able to buy it in a bigger size. I have repurchased it several times.

Very happy with my purchase, I’ve tried Ceylon cinnamon before, which I know is the true cinnamon, as opposed to Cassia, which is marketed as cinnamon but is actually very dangerous for your liver, due to the high coumarin content, and not true cinnamon. I recently read that black coffee with Ceylon cinnamon is helpful for blood sugar, metabolism and weight loss, so I decided to give this product a try. The Ceylon cinnamon I’ve tried in the past had no flavor at all and tasted like sawdust. While not nearly as strong as the.Vietnamese Cassia “cinnamon” or really any grocery store cinnamon that I’m used to, I adjusted my tastebuds after a few days and have come to really enjoy it in my coffee with just a little stevia. The flavor of Ceylon cinnamon is best described as very mild, savory and woodsy. It has a very interesting piney type of flavor that almost feels Christmasy to me, and the addition of stevia makes up for the lack of sweetness so prevalent in Cassia. I’ll still use Cassia in my baking recipes where no one will be consuming dangerously high quantities, but from now on I’ll be using this Ceylon for my coffee, knowing I can use it generously. This would also be great for savory recipes, such as chili, mole or Moroccan and Indian recipes. The glass jar is a generous size and the product tastes very fresh. Glad to find it here on Amazon, because it’s hard to find in the stores.

We typically grow our own and have enough to last a year through our next growing season. This year we are out, so I decided to try store bought. This is pretty fresh tasting. Now it’s no where near fresh out of the garden - but after we dry our own and let it sit out to full mature. This does taste muted, like it’s been sitting on the shelf for at least 6 months,

It's organic and the right cinnamon for investing large amounts. If you use the other common one cassia it can have side effects. So this is the best and tastes gre8t.
