I have been taking this product for ~6 months now and have really noticed a difference in my overall health. You can do a simple Google search for the benefits of magnesium and find a myriad of articles and studies about its effects. One thing most people don't realize is it can take up to two months to notice any differences as your magnesium levels begin to normalize.I take 400-600mg (2-3 tablets) a day. One in the morning when I wake up and one at night before I go to bed. If I add an extra tablet I add it sometime during the late afternoon. It's best not to take the full dose at once as your body will not absorb all of it. It's also best to take this on an empty stomach. In the morning I take it 15 minutes before I eat breakfast and at night I make sure I haven't eaten for a few hours (which is probably a healthy decision anyway)I have noticed a better ability to relax, less muscle cramps after a hard work out, and I sleep much better than I did before. Magnesium has many wonderful benefits and I would encourage anyone to do some research to see if it is right for them! It has worked very well for me.This product is very affordable and I highly recommend it to those looking to boost their magnesium levels.

****Please note this review is for the powder form of Magnesium Citrate. ****You need this if you suffer from constipation. It works great at keeping you regular. Many people are commenting about a change in quality. I have only used it recently (new mixture) and I have no complaints. No it doesn't 100% dissolve in liquid, but who cares? It works. I'm happy and my overall health has improved (blood sugar, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety). I'm saddened that we aren't told about this by our general practitioners. I needed magnesium years ago I'm sure, but I didn't know. I'm grateful for this product. I'm telling everyone I know about it.Also when you use this the directions say to mix with cold water. I find it hard to drink with water alone. I drink my magnesium with cold juice, orange, lemonade, cherry etc. It's much easier to take that way. Also, the directions says to take 1/2 a tsp. If you have severe constipation, you may need more than that amount to see an effect. Find the amount you need based on your on individual needs/symptoms. I take 3 to 4 teaspoons.Also, the capsule forms did now work for me initially because I think I was so stopped up, but now I love them. The capsules are easier to take because there is no taste. Yes, they are big, but if you can swallow large pills it's not an issue. If you are going to be taking magnesium to have regular bowel movements, you may want to start with the powder to soften/ loosen things up and then continue with the capsules for maintenance. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water.This product (powder and capsules) are life changing for anyone who suffers from chronic constipation.

These pills are great. Magnesium was recommended to me by a coworker to help with my allegeries believe it or not. I started taking them about 2 years ago, and prior to taking magnesium I had a monthly massage membership due to always having neck and upper back pain. I used to attribute it to my large breasts but since taking the magnesium I don’t any any pain in my back. It wasn’t until a few months ago that my massage place called me bc I had 11 unused massages! I didn’t even realize my back was no longer hurting until then. After doing some research I found magnesium helps with muscle function and tension. I used to take allerga d everyday, I no longer need it I think bc it is the magnesium. I had respiratory issues (like bronchitis at least a few times a year due to allergies) I haven’t gotten sick like that in about 2 years. These pills give me energy and they help you sleep. I cannot day enough about these pills. If you have any of the above problems,(I’m not a doctor) but I would give them a try. Most people are Magnesium deficient and magnesium plays a role in so many of our body’s functions. They are pretty big pills, but I don’t have a problem taking 2 at a time with plenty of water. Also, if you are a first time user I would only take one pill and see how your body responds to it and then increase to 2 pills daily. Remember it is a laxative and it will definitely keep you regular.
