Great buy for those on a budget!
For reference, I own the 20-60x60 Gosky scope from several years ago that is going for about $100 now. I used the old scope to compare against this new and improved scope. I think Gosky is a great optics company for someone on a budget like myself. I actually own a pair of the binoculars for my wife that exceeded my expectations for the money. I compared them to my Bushnell’s, and they kept up in every category.Pros:More clarity from close and long range. The new scope was much clearer from the 400-yard test I did. The image was also a little brighter as well. The focus dial has been improved which is actually really nice. If you look at the photos Gosky posted there are 2 sections on the focus wheel. One for getting close to focused and one for getting what I call detail focused. It’s actually a really cool feature. You can use one dial for dramatic focus assuming you are way out of focus then use the detail focus wheel to get a really clear view without shaking the scope because the wheel spins so smoothly. The eyepiece has been enlarged. At first, I was unsure that I like this but during testing it turned out to be one of the key advantages over the older scope. I use mine for hunting and shooting at the range, the wider eyepiece allows for less strain on the eye assuming you will be glassing for long periods at a time. It was also easier to look through, you did not have to take a lot of time to align your eye with the object being scoped. This was a huge improvement. The eye piece twists out to extend like the old one which is a great feature. The zoom knob works smoothly as it should. The lateral side to side scope adjustment also works well and rotates very smoothly. The new smartphone attachment is really nice and a huge upgrade from their last version.I don’t use the retractable sunshade/rain guard all that much, but it is a nice feature to have just in case. The carrying case was beefed up and you can actually leave it on while glassing as there is a zipper on the bottom that would open up to allow attachment to a tripod mount. The new scope outperformed the older one in every way other than a couple of key cons.Cons:The weight: this new scope was a lot heavier than the older one. I weighed the old one at 2 pounds 8 ounces. The new scope is 3 pounds 13 ounces. For someone that backpack with their scope this is a big difference. The lens cover: The new lens cover seems nice at first, but this needs to be improved. It stays on the scope great, the hard part is getting it off the scope. It is almost suctioned to the scope. I actually tied a little paracord loop on the lens cover where they left a hole on the lens cover and it pulls off a little easier now. They also did not include a leash like they do with the older ones.Overall the new scope is a huge improvement and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for something tough and reliable at this price point.

Great scope for my needs seeing targets at my100 yard range in my back yard
I started looking at really cheap $30 scopes and the more I read the more I got concerned they really don't offer much clarity at a distance over 30-40 yards. I selected this one because it was the entry level scope on the professional class BK4. I often find that to be a sweet spot for me on most products. The low end of the top tier of quality. It is well built, feels solid and since Im not transporting to the weight isnt an issue for me. I can clearly see holes in my target at 100+ yards and thats all I needed. However, I am dying to try some moon shots with my camera and look at wildlife in the trees around my house when Im not at the range! Love this selection. You wont be dissapointed and you will save some serious money if your needs are similar to mine.

Good value for the money and acceptable performance.
Scope is solidly built and was shipped quickly, packaging was good. I did have an issue with the eyepiece creating a pin cushioning effer at 30X but The manufacturer sent a replacement quickly and the issue was resolved. The HD coatings do provide good low light transmission however there is some chromatic aberration noticeable at high magnification. This spotting scope is suitable for wildlife observation and shooting activities but does fall a bit short for photographic purposes. The cell phone adapter could be improved - it is hard to hold the camera in the proper position when attaching the mount to the scope. All in all good value for the the money, and customer support is very responsive.

Premium spotting scope at a great value
The media could not be loaded. I decided to purchase this spotting scope because I was so impressed with the GoSky 10x42 binoculars. I wanted a more powerful optic to add to my kit that I take with me while doing geological fieldwork. Again, I have been thoroughly impressed. This spotting scope arrived in very secure packaging, completely encapsulated in a secure foam cutout. It is nice to know that the vendor takes this kind of care into consideration when shipping their product. My immediate reaction to this scope is that it emulates another brand of optics that specializes in spotting scopes. However, this other brand has similar scopes in the $899 to $1500 price range. My GoSky scope is $289.99 at the time of purchase. The GoSky scope features an 80mm objective lens which excels at gathering light. This means more accurate colors when viewing objects in the daytime. The large objective lens also allows you to see more celestial objects at night. I was able to clearly make out individual craters on the moon when using this scope. The GoSky scope feels hefty and robust. This is a good thing. It is important to understand that you will need a sturdy tripod while using this scope. Your image will be too shaky if you use this scope as a handheld. This is to be expected with most optics over 10x magnification. The zoom feature is located on the eyepiece and is variable between 20x magnification and 60x magnification. It feels smooth and sturdy when adjusting. The dual-speed focus is located in front of the eyepiece. This also works as expected and allows for very fine tuning of your image clarity. The provided case for the scope is a little thin and a tight fit but does the job. My only complaint is that the scope does not easily fit in the bag with my tripod mount attached. There is a zipper on the bottom of the case for this but it still requires a bit of maneuvering to fit properly. However, this is really a non-issue at the price and is just nitpicking. The provided cellphone camera attachment works wonderfully. With little trouble, I placed my camera in the mount and attached it to the scope. It required no adjustment thereafter. Furthermore, GoSky provides a small pamphlet to help improve your image using this mount. Finally, this scope features a side swivel that allows you to rotate the scope on a tripod. This is useful if you want to change the angle at which you are looking through the eyepiece.I highly recommend this scope!

Decent spotter scoop.
The scope was good quality but the full size tripod was flimsy and it shook easily to jar the focus. I returned mine because of these issue.
