Excellent snack!
This is a fantastic road trip or ANYTIME snack! It travels much better than my protein bars and is enough to hold me over till I can eat a meal.

Dry, Salty, Fishy, Stale - NOT Recommended
As others have stated, the Hawaiian Warrior variety is dry, salty, and fishy when compared to Kaimana's other flavors. I was really looking forward to this jerky, but was disappointed at the very first bite. I was also very surprised to find that there was no expiration (sell by/enjoy by) date on the packaging which makes me question how long it has been sitting on the shelf (and might explain why it was so stale).I do not recommend this particular flavor, but do highly recommend Kaimana's other tuna jerky flavors.

So disappointed!!
I was so excited to get this, since I don't eat meat - I miss Hawaiian food culture as well, and I was really looking forward to this experience. First bites were AMAZING. Such a delightful texture and flavor combo... quickly turned sour, as I discovered MOLD!!! Purchase at your own risk. *sad face*

Too dry to enjoy
I have tried several varieties made by this brand; all were chewy & moist and quite tasty. This Hawaiian Warrior flavor has good spices as well, but is so dry it feels like chewing on woodshavings. Will be going back to my favorite Peppered!

Basic fish jerky
I didn't know what the flavor was for this jerky. So I purchased it.Basically, it's thin sliced (paper thin) tuna taste like seasoned with salt only.

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect but this is some of the best jerky I've ever had. Thin, crisp pieces, excellent flavor without being overwhelming.

I want a refund, UCK!
I think maybe I got a bad batch! I love love love Tuna Jerky. I had the Peppered flavor the first time I ever went to Hawaii and I was addicted. So I decided to step outside the box and try the Warrior flavor. I was horrified. The jerky felt like paper and it looked super weird. I tried it anyways and OMG! Gross. It had ZERO flavor and tasted OLD. I was super bummed bc it was pricey. I tried to return to Amazon and they said product was not eligible for return. Super bummed!

Amazing Jerky
This jerky tastes amazing! I love the flavor and that it can be eaten with a paleo diet. Does not taste fishy or too salty.
