This was so easy to use. The temperature was accurate in F, I dont know C but when I converted it online that was right on. It measured the temperature with speed, only took about 30 seconds. I would buy again, especially because it was so cheap

It's an alright thermometer. I am a little concerned if this truly can do candy, as the temps go much higher for candy than for meat, and the build quality of this item is a little concerning, seeing as how the tip is plastic. But for meat, it works fine. It also is better for sauces and whatnot, because the bottom isn't sharp, it's rounded, so it isn't going to insert into anything like a steak easily. But it comes with two batteries, so it will last quite a while. Seems accurate, but I wouldn't know since I don't have any other ways to test the temps.

I used this to make candy on the stove. To make the candy the temp needed to reach 300 degrees which this thermometer claimed it could do. Once the temp reached 260 degrees the screen slowly started to fade to black. Absolute piece of garbage. DO. NOT. BUY

It works, and is accurate. However, it takes a really long time to get the reading. I am using it to measure the internal temp of my bread, and my oven is losing a lot of heat in the time it takes to get up to temp. Will be looking for a replacement.
