This thing is really pretty awful. For a start, there are two pairs of plates to attach the fitting to the helmet via a sticky pad - either flat or slightly concave. I don't know of any helmet that has a flat place big enough, so it seems pointless including these. The concave ones have only a very slight curve, and are way too flat to go on the chinbar of my helmet. And look at the position in the photo in the listing - the camera is obscuring half the rider's view of the road! I should have spotted that and smelt a rat before ordering.If you want to mount it to one side to get round this problem, there's the issue of adjustment - the extremely crude design allows movement only in planes at right angles to each other. There is no fine adjustment possible if the item is mounted slightly out of horizontal - and you'd better get it right, because there are no second chances for repositioning with the 3M VHB adhesive pads.Finally, it looks just dreadful - several bits of black plastic bolted together like a miniature toy crane with a camera hung on the end. And there aren't enough screws if you don't care how it looks and want to use all the components at once. There are much better mounts out there, and even if they are a lot more expensive, I'd say they're worth it.
