A good ENTRY-LEVEL system.
Overall build quality seems pretty good. A little disappointed in the Mic housing. Needs to be a little heavier in my opinion. Also, there's some mic handling noise but that could be remedied with a heavier insulated casing. This unit is perfect for karaoke or a entry level worship team/ensemble.Pros: Definitely the price. 8 individual outs for individual control. Nice look. Easy set-up. UHF frequency which is a plus. Sound is pretty good.....would be better with eq, fx etc....Cons: A little mic handling noise, it doesn't have rack ears, and mics are a little too light weight.

Amazing value for the money!
If you are looking for a super affordable way to get into a high-channel digital mic system, look no further! The MWM 81F is a great system for someone who needs a lot of channels and only has a little bit of space. It includes 8 transmitters that all get sent to 1 19" receiver. The system runs in the 500MHz range which is really nice. It's also fully digital so no need to worry about strange static or glitchy noises if you lose reception. When you break it down, you only pay a little over $40 per channel! Compare that to an entry-level Shure system which costs closer to $300 per channel and it's easy to see the value here. You can even switch channels! Most other mics in this price range have a fixed frequency. So if you have reception issues, you are out of luck! Melonare made sure that wouldn't happen by providing a large number of selectable channels/groups.PROS:8 digital channels! There are many advantages to digital over analog. No noise floor or hiss to worry about. You get to hear the actual output of the channel and don't need to think about it being compressed and then expanded like an analog system. Also, digital systems don't have the same issues when experiencing dropouts. With digital the signal is either on or off. No pops, cracks, hiss, white noise, etc... to worry about during signal loss.Amazing price! You get 8 channels of digital audio for less than $350. That's incredible! Each transmitter has a screen that displays battery life as well as the channel number! The box comes fully loaded with EVERYTHING you could possibly need to use the mics! Unlike competitors the MWM 81F comes with everything in the box you could possibly need to start using the system. There is nothing worse than getting new gear, and being excited to use it the first time, only to open the box and find out you need to buy other stuff just to use it how you wanted. No fixed frequencies! Each channel has multiple frequencies that can be selected. This is fantastic in busy RF environments. Most other mics in this price range are fixed frequency. So if it doesn't work there is nothing you can do.CONS:The mics are prone to plosives and sibilance but both can be solved easily with a pop filter and EQ.No auto scan. While there is a large number of frequencies to choose from there is no way to scan to find the best one. With such a large number of microphones to manage this can be an issue and be very time-consuming if you have a hard time finding a clear channel. Even tho this is true I have yet to have an issue finding good, useable channels. The process of changing channels and groups is a little confusing and requires you to fully shut down the system in the process. This was the biggest challenge I found with the mic system. Unlike other systems, you actually change the group/channel on the transmitter instead of the receiver. The process to do this is a little clunky and took a few times to get right. The biggest issue tho was to sync the transmitter and receiver you have to completely shut the receiver off! This means if you are in the middle of a show and start having problems with one channel, there is no way to fix it without completely shutting down the receiver which would mean none of the mics would work during that time. With other systems, you don't need to turn the whole system off to sync. So if you have issues during a show, you can change the channel on the transmitter and sync to the receiver without shutting it off. So any other mics that were connected could still work the whole time. While this is true, as I said before, I never found myself in a situation where I even had to find a new channel when in use. I had 0 issues with reception when I was using the mic system. The MWM 81F is a fantastic value and real bang for the buck! I highly recommend this system to anyone who needs a large number of transmitters but has a low budget. I don't think you will find better in this price range. It really is a great system!

Exceeded My Expectations
At first, I was unsure about the build quality, but after setting up the unit, I was seriously impressed. The setup process was straightforward, and adjusting channels and frequencies was simple. The sound quality is remarkable—clear and consistent. I tested it by walking about 200 feet both indoors and outside the building, and there were no dropouts. Given the price, this unit is an absolute win for me.1 note the Antennas are not removable so you could not use paddles with this unit.
