This is my second pole like this although different brands. And this one is even better than the last. I needed a second extendable pole for traveling with as I start doing Video podcasting interviews. I don't take selfies with this extendable pole although it is far superior to the selfie poles I have tried in the past. With a twist at the top I can unlock the 3 sections and extend each section separately for shorter table top use or all 3 at the same time for a 40" high camera light or accessory pole. It comes with a smart phone clamp, GoPro attachment and a removable tripod. Wrist strap is also included.It uses the standard 1/4-20 camera screws so it will work with almost anything you want to mount it to. I am able to attach it to my Kayak using standard adapters depending on your kayak and film my fishing adventures. I can use it behind me extended and filming over my head or in front collapsed down to the short 12 inches for filming me from that angle without it getting in the way. lastly I have used the tripod without the stick as a table top mount for smaller monitors I use also a multi-view monitor while recording.One thing to watchout for while recording outdoors. The tripod is short and at the bottom of the stick. It works great when there is no wind. If you have your phone or camera attached and fully extended the CG is very high and the slightest wind will blow it over. Basic downside of this design but that is what the much larger tripods are designed for. Still 5 stars.

Folded down it is about 30cm long, and it extends in 4 parts to be about 90cm long. To tighten/losen each section you twist it, while it has an obvious feel when you losen it, it isn't entirely obvious when you tighten it, so you need to double check it is firmly tightened before using it.The base has a nice quality rubber grip to hold it. It has a ball head at the top you can move around freely and tighten when you have the desired angle. It comes with a phone mount and a generic action camera mount to fit on the ball head. In the base it has a standard screw mount that you can screw the included tripod. The tripod only works on a flat surface, the legs aren't long and it could be prone to falling over in the wind - for that I am docking it a star in the rating.The stick is pretty sturdy feeling, and is fine for a phone/action camera/small digital camera which is what it is designed for. Due to the small ball head, I wouldn't trust anything larger like a medium size camera on there.

Tripod do actually works for the phone. At first i thought it might just tilt and i won't hold the phone since the legs of the tripod seems a bit thin. But i was surprised as it did actually works and its sturdy. Same for the gopro. I love this selfie stick it works brilliantly.Hope my review was helpful
