'Manuka' honey is one of the most prized of flavoured honeys, and it is form exactly these plants that it comes. Not surprising then that this is a fabulous late Spring flowering compact shrub perfect for bees - a great way to bring pollinators into your garden. Also known as the New Zealand Tea tree, closely related to the Tea tree Oil priducing plant with very similar flowers. They tolerate drought well, and thrive on coastal areas, although may be damaged by frosts below -5C, so perhaps grow in a pot or against a warming wall. In late Spring the branches are tightly smothered in large numbers of colorful ruffled flowers, which the bees go mad for. Each colelction contains 3 plants - one each of Red, Pink & White.
