We live in a log house and the kitchen was Very dimly lit. My brother (an electrician) turned me on to these lightbulbs. They are great for lighting up a dark space.

Much brighter than I expected. We’re using them as grow lights for several house plants and a terrarium. They seem to be working well.

These bulbs light up the whole room top to bottom. I have 16’ ceilings and normal light get lost in such a large room. These bulbs direct the bright white daylight all over the room.

I bought a six-pack of the bulbs to go into bedroom ceiling fans. They arrived quickly after ordering and I was excited to actually have light in my bedroom again, so I immediately tried them out. I got some saying they were daylight, because that's what the bulbs were in my previous ceiling fan light. The previous ones were also LED 100 watt equivalent, so nice and bright. Unfortunately, the previous bulbs were a regular bulb size and the new ceiling fan calls for E12 candelabra base bulbs, so I had to order some. When I got these in, first, I had to wiggle them a bit for them to make a solid connection and turn on once they were twisted in. Second strike against them was that the light they give off is weirdly gray and somewhat reminiscent of scenes from an insane asylum in a horror movie. This is not the kind of cheerful or even restful or inviting type of lighting one would want for one's bedroom. Third, the minor gray light it did give off was causing eyestrain and was headache inducing. I filled out the return form within 20 minutes after getting them into the house. They're going back tomorrow morning and I'm going to a brick and mortar store where I can see, in-person, exactly what the lights look like and get what want, even if I end up ordering it online once I see it. In hindsight, I should have just done that to begin with. Live and learn.

This is second time I bought this type of bulb with mixed results. The first group was from a different seller and one of the four was bad. I bought six from this seller and again one was bad. Just make sure you get a good price to make it worth it. They are very bright though.
