I’m a very picky person regarding shaving. I don’t consider myself connoisseur but I do like to get some good quality shaving creams and accessories.This shaving cream is an absolute must!!!Not overwhelming! If you like to take your time with your shaving, that’s a no brainer of a product.

Started off using way too much. Only needs a little to get my whole head and face. And talk about smooth, it does much better than most everything else I've tried plus it has an excellent scent.

Truefitt & Hill makes quality shaving products. Trafalgar is similar to 1805 in that it provides comfort to one's face/beard while shaving. The scent is very light--almost unnoticeable. Compact for travel needs.

Truefitt & Hill is a venerable British shave cream from a country that knows how to make great shave creams. In order to render an accurate opinion, I need to compare it to another British cream, as, for example, the Trumper line of creams. With T & H, a little goes a long way, balancing out in part its greater expense. While Trumper costs less, it requires more cream to whip up a nice lather. The T & H scent is very mild as is the Trumper and disappears almost immediately after shaving. T & H is silky smooth in its application. Trumper is thicker, more like an American cream. There are very few creams that rival T & H in its rich, luxurious feel on your face. Perhaps the one that most comes to mind is not British but Portuguese, Musgo Real. While some may like the thicker cream of Trumper, it is impossible to beat Truefitt and Hill as the monarch of British creams.

I’m very impressed by the quality and scent of this brand as a whole. This shaving cream works really well and lathers up very quickly. It doesn’t take much to get a good amount going and in my opinion is worth the price.

Trufitt and Hill Sandalwood Shaving Cream builds to an exceptional lather and is extremely slick and smooth while shaving. Most notable is that it takes very little from the tube to create more than enough lather for a three pass shave. The sandal wood scent is subtle and not overpowering. This is my go-to shaving cream from now on.

I love Truefitt & Hill shaving creams and soaps. Yes, they are pricey - but they are worth it.I shave every day in the shower. With this cream, I put a little bit in the palm of my hand and use a badger hair brush to work up a lather. Now, when I say "a little bit", I mean a little bit. I mean "a pea-sized amount" is actually too much. You'll have a ton of leftover lather. This stuff creates an excellent lather with the tiniest amounts. So even this 2.6oz tube should last me 6-8 months, easily.Regarding the shave: second to none. This does such a good job lubricating your face that you really only need to shave with the grain to get something that looks and feels good throughout the day. It is not until almost 24 hours later that the shadow kicks in and you feel any scratch. I get to half of that time with a Proraso soap or cream - and I like Proraso, it is a good budget soap/cream in my opinion, but not the point of this review.The smell is nice. Very masculine, with some spice to it. Overall, very nice without being overwhelming. Even in a hot shower, I don't feel like I am being 'drenched' in the scent. It sticks around for a while, but someone else can really only smell it if they put their face right next to yours.The only downside is that it isn't in 'tub' form, but those don't seem to exist as a part of Amazon Prime anymore - only if you're willing to pay $6-8 shipping (either on Amazon, or other stores)

Scent is a personal thing, but to me this stuff smells fantastic. The tube it comes in is a good size for travel and keeps the cream more fresh than the big bowls they sell, albeit at a higher unit cost. Also, I notice that when I go back to using other shaving cream brands I get more razor nicks (I use a DE razor). It foams up great if you use a brush, but it also works great without a brush which is nice when traveling.

Considerato il prestigio del marchio, mi aspettavo tutt'altro: nonostante l'accurato montaggio in ciotola e la preparazione della pelle con il collaudatissimo Goodfellas’ Dawn of Glory, lo scorrimento della lama non è dei migliori. Il sapone tende a restare piuttosto staccato dalla pelle e restituisce la sensazione di eccessivo sgrassaggio, con una fastidiosa secchezza.Anche la profumazione non è granché: delicatissima, quasi impercettibile, per un'esperienza assolutamente ordinaria.TOBS tutta la vita...

Kann nur sagen, wenig auf dem Pinsel, macht viel Schaum. Top Duft und lang anhalten.
