BEST CPU
By FAR the best CPU I’ve had. So many games were so slow with my previous CPU and with this upgrade everything felt faster. I was able to load into games faster and also have it at higher quality AND higher frame rate. It was not difficult to keep it cool with a cheap liquid cooler. It also make my pc feel a bit more quieter but not much. I still think that this CPU is the best CPU you can get to this day.

Run games smoothly
As my first venture into an AMD build, I couldn't be happier with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Paired with an Asrock B650 Steel Legend WiFi 6E motherboard, fast DDR5 RAM, and an Onix Lumi Arc B580 12GB graphics card, this processor handles everything I throw at it with impressive ease. Demanding games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Ghost of Tsushima run beautifully, providing a smooth and immersive experience, and it also chews through photo and video editing tasks without breaking a sweat. So far, the compatibility and performance have been flawless. What's particularly reassuring is how consistently cool the 7800X3D runs, even under sustained load. Thanks to my Thermalright Peerless Assassin air cooler and the excellent airflow within my NZXT H6 Flow case, temperatures remain remarkably stable whether I'm deep into a gaming session or processing large media files. This combination of raw processing power and thermal efficiency means I get reliable, top-tier performance across all my applications without worry. My switch to AMD, spearheaded by this 7800X3D, has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. It has proven to be a powerhouse, delivering fantastic gaming frame rates and adeptly managing creative workloads. For anyone looking for a CPU that excels in a variety of demanding tasks while maintaining great thermals with a good air cooling setup, I wholeheartedly recommend the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. It's a truly capable chip that has significantly elevated my PC experience.

Great gaming CPU
I game a lot and this was a great upgrade from an 8700k. Great price to performance and relatively easy to cool considering how well it performs. PBO makes it a breeze to get more performance without having to dive deeper into overclocking if you don't want to.

Elite-Level Performance – The Ryzen 7 7800X3D Delivers Beyond Expectations
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive processors I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Built on AMD’s advanced 5nm Zen 4 architecture and equipped with 3D V-Cache technology, this CPU delivers exceptional performance across both gaming and productivity workloads.Out of the box, the 7800X3D handles everything I throw at it—high-refresh-rate gaming, content creation, multitasking—with remarkable efficiency and speed. Its low latency and high cache capacity make it a standout for competitive gaming, while maintaining excellent thermals and power efficiency.Compared to previous-gen CPUs, the performance uplift is immediately noticeable. The responsiveness, frame stability, and overall system fluidity are on another level. I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. If you're building a high-end rig and want a processor that offers cutting-edge performance without compromise, the 7800X3D is a top-tier choice.

Don't hesitate...just get it!
I kind of went a little overboard with my thoughts on what these tarrifs would bring so I decided to just build a PC just in case the prices increase drastically. Prob won't but that's not my point here. When I was researching parts and if I wanted to stay with AMD or try Intel, I found a bunch of raving reviews about this CPU. I got it on sale during the spring sale for $399. Not really a crazy sale there but still saved a few dollars. I got all my PC parts during the sale and prob saved about $150. So now for my actual thoughts on the Ryzen 7 7800x3D. I love the performance upgrade it has given me. This is coming from an Ryzen 5700x3D that's now in my bedroom PC. I saw a review on here saying they saw very little performance upgrade from a 5600x.....what? I did some benchmarks and play some games. I went from 60 in cyber punk Ultra RT to around 90-100. I am rocking a 9070xt but I was using that with the 5700x3D also. I saw a huge performance uplift in Assassin's Creed Shadows as well by 20fps. To me that is a great upgrade because frames matter and all that good stuff. It does run warmer than my 5700x3D but I researched the temps and it's actually below normal temps seen by others in same scenarios. I am using a graphite pad instead of thermal paste so maybe that's why? Idk but I am tempted to paste it and see if there's any difference. I can't show you the CPU but I'll send a gratuitous picture of inside of my new build like the other reviewers. It's nothing fancy but it does the job for me. This was the best decision outside the 9070xt...team red baby!

Perfect Combo with the RTX 5070 Ti
I recently built a PC with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and paired it with a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and the performance is unreal. This combo absolutely crushes modern games — high frame rates, smooth gameplay, and zero stutters, even on ultra settings at 1440p and 4K. The 7800X3D’s extra cache really makes a difference in CPU-heavy games. You can tell it was designed with gaming in mind — it keeps frame rates high and steady, especially in competitive shooters and open-world titles. Plus, it stays cool and efficient, so I don’t have to deal with loud fans or overheating.

The Gold Standard CPU for Gaming and not OVERPRICED.
Most gaming peripherals that are considered the best in their category price's tend to be unrealistically expensive. The Ryzen 7 7800x3D is not. Due to the x3D technology this CPU is great for gaming, I recently brought this upgrading from a Ryzen 5 2600 and the difference is CLEAR. Even though FPS is mainly based on your GPU I did see an FPS increase. I expect this CPU to last for a long time. Also make sure your motherboard is compatible with AM5.
