Truefitt & Hill75g New Sandalwood Shave Cream Tube

Expensive but very good quality and nice fragrance. A little goes a long way.

A great shave from this cream and a pleasant and lingering aroma

I purchased Truefitt and Hill's Sandalwood shaving products for several years but had a break for 12 months in 2021 to grow a beard.I recently started shaving and ordered this products again.However, on opening the shaving cream bowl I found that the top of the cream had dried out forming a hard layer. I assumed this to be normal, and used the cream only to find that hard dry granules had formed throughout the product. I also find that the cream leaves my skin with a dry astringent feeling which does not improve with application of my usual shaving balm or prior use of the preshave oil.This is a marked deterioration in my experience of using their products. I have a much better experience with King of Shaves gel which is of course much cheaper.

Scent is a personal thing, but to me this stuff smells fantastic. The tube it comes in is a good size for travel and keeps the cream more fresh than the big bowls they sell, albeit at a higher unit cost. Also, I notice that when I go back to using other shaving cream brands I get more razor nicks (I use a DE razor). It foams up great if you use a brush, but it also works great without a brush which is nice when traveling.

I've been using this shaving cream for several years and really like it. It gives a really smooth, gentle shave with my razor and a little goes a very long way. I bought this tube because I loaned mine to my son and he really liked it for his sensitive skin. It's also conveniently under the maximum travel size, so no TSA issues bringing it along on trips.

I’ve tried over three dozen shaving products from foams to creams to pucks. This one leads the field. A quarter inch dab produces oodles of luxurious lather making this an actually economical product despite initial layout. The blade glides over the face with no drag or discomfort leaving only smooth in its wake.

I was recently told about Truefitt & Hill products. Since then, I have purchased multiple items including creams, aftershaves, cologne, face wash, and moisturizer. They are all of the highest quality and I am truly impressed with their products. I cannot say enough good things about their shaving creams! And then to find this in a travel tube absolutely made my day. Do your face a favor and get the T&H shaving cream, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I like the Sandalwood and 1805 scents, but they have a great variety for all walks of life.
