Tippi First Radio Control Dump Truck, Muticolor

I love this brand of remote control cars (we've bought 2 now). They're really colourful, cute and easy to control (my 1 year old can figure it out, although he's no Lewis Hamilton yet). It comes with just a forward button and a reverse around a corner button so getting the logistics down for the little one is challenging but my boy loves to just press and watch it move and click the driver to get it playing sounds. It keeps his attention well while allowing him to learn and have fun. The reason for the 4 stars (and perhaps the most influential for some) is that it has a high demand of batteries, where I think it uses 4 in the car and 3 in the controller, and it uses them fast. They also need to be pretty decent quality batteries too because we decided to try some rechargeable ones after this thing necked 2 sets quickly, and they didn't even power it. Overall they are great cars and I would definitely recommend the product, I would suggest that if you're going to be using it regularly you have a good supply of batteries. If they could make a model that is USB chargable or something that'd be better...

So I bought this for my nephews birthday, and he loved it, he was all excited which was great. But after a while if playing with it and sharing it ampngst his sister brother and cousins the remote control got flung across the room and into my sons head. Now whether it was just a really strong throw with a big bang I don't know (it was thrown by a 3 year old and my 4 year old son has no bruises and was fine after a cuddle) but since hitting him in the head the controller hasn't worked. I know that the controller wasn't made to be thrown but as it's a my first type toy I'd expect them to be a little more resilient as young children throw things no matter how many times you tell them not too

Bought for my grandson and he absolutely loves it. Very robust (and in his little hands, it needs to be! ). Quite noisy and an option to turn off the sounds or lower the volume would have been good, but nevertheless it doesn't detract from this being a great toy to play with. Recommended

Dislike:- plays train not a truck sound effects- you have no option to turn the music or sound effects off- Should have read the description better but you can only go forward or reverse and to the right. I expected that by turning the steering wheel would change the direction of the truck. for a 'first' remote control, steering too difficult because of thisLike:- sturdy, have a 1 and 3 yr old and takes a lot of punishment from each of them

Bought for my 2 year old, he loves it and can easily use the remote control. The music isn't the best, it's a bit tinny and gets annoying after a while... but it doesn't bother the kids! Great for the price.

Ordered it as a gift for my friends child, was playing with for about 10/15 mins - it just stopped working. He did not drop it or anything. We tried everything to make it work. We left the toy with him (they do not live near us) as he was upset and wanted to play with it still. Messaged the sellers for a replacement - they said we had to contact amazon - any numbers i found for them didn't work etc - was such a farce. I thought I'll just order a new one. Swap it with the one the child has now - he'll never know, then send that one back for a refund. The new one does not work full stop.

My son loves it. He has another one where he through the remote and it broke. This remote works on that one as well so added bonus. Hes been playing with them boh at same time loving it.

Is a fun toy but the noises it makes are bad and you can't turn them down, luckily it is easy to unscrew the bottom of the car and cut the blue wire and all the sounds stop but everything else still works
