No, its a standard Micro Four Thirds fit. It doesn't have any image stabilization (Olympus do that in-body) and you have to manually open and focus the lens to use it. Otherwise it works perfectly on Panasonic G series cameras - I've used mine with GH2, GF3 and GH4 camera bodies. The G1 is standard MFT so it should be fine.

Your options (without a lot of thought) would be an olympus pen lens with an adapter or (better) a second hand olympus/panasonic micro four/thirds with the 9mm lens cap lens. The combination could still be a budget friendly way of getting a super wide angle. I have a the lenscap 9mm and with a bit of care (practice, good light or a tripod) it works surprisingly well. Its great for wacky selfies.

It will certainly fit on Lumix as well as Olympus m4/3 cameras. With Lumix cameras you have to be sure that that, in the relevant menu, you have set the camera to be happy when it thinks no lens is fitted (as this lens has no electrical contacts, so the camera cannot detect it).
