I have had really good luck with SanDisk products
I am a big fan of SanDisk. They are my "go to" brand when purchasing flash memory devices. When I first started purchasing flash memory devices I tried a variety of brands. I learned the hard way that some less expensive devices just didn't last, lost data, or did not always read like they should. Once I purchased SanDisk products I just didn't have problems with them. I have purchased SanDisk SD cards, micro SD cards, and thumb drives. My experiences have all been positive. I still have some from several years back that continue to function well. Most important to me is that I find that they are at a nice price point and, as mentioned, work well over time. I use their micro SD cards for my phones (those that still accept them), my security cameras, and my dash cams. I use this specific series, "Extreme" for dash cams. I use the "Ultra" series for my phones and security cameras. My apologies but I am not an expert at doing bench tests on these products. My only experience is actual use. So my gauge of quality is, "Do they work when I need them to?" Unfortunately, the only measure of this is when they go bad, which does not seem to happen with how I use them. As mentioned, I just don't have the issues I had when I purchased lower priced (quality?) devices. I am sure there are some much more knowledgeable reviewers who can report on transfer speed. It would be great to see some of these reports because I have been wondering lately if some of the "higher end" series of micro SD cards are worth the extra price. When I was looking for dash cam micro SD cards, I did a little research and found several reviews that included the SanDisk "Extreme" so I did step up and paid the extra for the "Extreme" series.I also know that I have never had any issues with formatting a SanDisk card. Most of the micro SD cards I order come with an SD card reader. That is nice even though I now have several. That said, I saw that SanDisk also makes a "USB-A" micro SD card reader. The micro SD card loads from the end rather than the side like many of the card readers. I may end up trying one of those at some point. Or, wait to see if they come out with a "USB-C" version.Recommend: YESQuestions: Just wondering if there is really that much difference between the various "series" that SanDisk has for their micro SD cards.

Tiny Card, Giant Power!
The SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSD card has been my go-to for just about everything—from my dash cam and action cams to tablets and even my drone. It handles 4K video like a champ, and I’ve never had any lag or random file issues. Transferring files to my laptop is super fast—it’s like this thing drinks energy drinks! Apps load quicker on my tablet, and it keeps up with burst photos and high-res videos without choking. The only downside? It gets a little pricey, and you’ll need a solid card reader to squeeze out those top speeds. Still, performance-wise, it’s a beast in a thumbnail-sized package. All in all, this card delivers power, speed, and space across all my devices without skipping a beat.+ Priced accordingly+ Super fast transfers+ Great for 4K+Huge storageHope this was helpful!

Great SanDisk Quality
i purchased this item for my cell phone to store videos and photos. I purchased SanDisk because I have done so before and never had an issue any of their products. This card has excellent read and write speeds. It is well worth the few dollars that I spent above their competitors cards. I know my files will safe.

2tb card works perfect after formatting on Mac
On Mac you must format it first before it will work. After formatting it works perfectly. I was even able to edit a 2 hour 4K HDR video with 250GB with of MULTI cam clips while using this 2TB SD card as my external HD. INSANE that's this was able to edit and export the video using this 2tb SD card with almost no lag.

SD 512 micro card came Write protected
Came with an adapter that write protected the card in either switch position. I replaced the adapter with one that I already had and it now works fine. The adapter is the problem, not the chip card itself. 🤯

Perfect for Kindle plus ease of transferring data and media files to it with no glitches
I bought this to enable me to store movies to view on my Kindle Fire Max 11 without depleting the built in memory. It was well packaged in bubble wrap so damage was as good as alleviated during prep and transportation. My kindle recognised it straight away. I'd read in some other ratings that its best to set as portable storage, so I did the same even though I don't intend to remove it. I've used Sandisk products before without problems and so far this has not shown any either with readability and reliability. I've had it installed for less than a month only. Its giving 5 star performance. but can only give it 4 stars for now because it needs to maintain that for a lot longer than the couple of weeks I've been using it.

Highly recommend.
Top quality and speed. Works perfectly in my tablet. Will buy more in this series. Highly recommend. Next time I'll buy the ones with more gigs, but for this Fire tablet this was all I needed.

Great Steam Deck etra storage.
Really good for Steam deck. I just figured good 1 tb is enough for retro gaming. Of course you can do 2tb for extra storage if you need to but for me i am good with Retro 1tb moving forward. have 218 games on the storage.
