Much Safer Than Others
I used these to compress the spring on a BMW X1. The fact they clamp over the pring at both sides and have the safety ring makes them a lot safer than the open jaw type. They are strong, well packaged and effective. I never once felt they would slip round the spring like my old ones. Well worth the money for the peace of mind.

Safe and easy to use
Fantastic bit of kit. Have used spring compressors for ages but this design is by far the safest. Locks spring and easy to use.

Good quality felt safe using them
Heavy duty. Felt very safe and secure when holding the spring tension. Felt and looked well manufactured. Good range of extension and compression.

Easy to use and works well, much better than others. Bit of fiddling with safety bracket but other than that nice and simple with no hassle. Feels solid as well

Excellent, best spring compressors ive used
I dont normally bother writing reviews, but these compressors are the best ive used so thought they deserved a quick review.I have used others in the past and had a few small injuries, but these are easy to use and very sturdy, not once did i think they were going to slip.The threads are very smooth and dont bind, i did use an air ratchet, but on the second spring i tried with a normal ratchet and socket and they still compressed the springs with minimal effort.I changed both front springs on a Bmw E92 335i with M sport suspension and it was easy.Can highly recommend these spring compressors

Definitely safer
Great item, feel loads safer with these than the traditional spring compressors, you know, the ones where you feel like you’re gonna die when you use them.

Excelent sturdy compressor.
Excelent sturdy spring compressor, use with confidence, never felt strained during winding. Great design, heavy inner and outer tubing suround a large thread winder. Bottom grip, clamps around the coil, and can be adjusted by 40mm on the theaded section of the outer tube, whilst compressed. The safety slide keeps both compressors a fixed distance appart and avoids slippage around the coil. Just wind it evenly x3 turns per side. Its way better then my old long thread with cast iron hooks at each end.
