The good: the Eden quick connect system is compatible with Melnor quick connect adapters, which is supposedly compatible with the Gardena quick connect system. These connectors are also made in Taiwan, not China. They don’t drip, and the connection seems more secure than my Melnor connectors. After having to replace a spigot because it fused to a aluminum hose connector, I’m fine with good plastic connectors.The not-so-good is something all these systems have in common - after installing the starter kit, the first hose connected to a spigot will have two female ends. If I want to connect a second hose to that first hose, I have to use a male “plug” at one end, and a female connector at the other. What if I want to swap hoses at the spigot, though? Sure, I could swap ends, and plug in the female connector into the male plug at the spigot. However, I won’t be able to connect the male plug on a sprayer to what’s now the male end of the hose. I don’t have OCD, but this triggers *something*.

Took me a bit to figure these out, as I've never used hose connector before, but when I did, I was really happy! I'm 73 and have a hard time twisting, twisting, twisting to get a hose on my outdoors faucets. These are really a snap (pardon the pun) to use and the appear to be quite strong so far. No, I won't run over them with my mower, or break them in other ways. I water my front yard plants out front every day as well as my backyard plants. These are really great for folks with arthritic hands. I can put mine on with my left hand that is my worst at ripping an twisting. Plus not too expensive. I'm just happy they fit the bill and worked great for me.
