It works and it is easy to set-up!
I picked up this kit to fix a problematic spot in my home. Wireless was just unstable. I followed the directions, plugged one into my router, the other in the room with issues, and that did it.

Does the opposite of what it’s supposed to do
TL;DR: Unless you’re using old, outdated hardware, this will SLOW you down. Pictures speak for themselves. This is a product from 2019 that SLOWS down your internet and causes ~20% packet loss.I have fiber and get 800-900mbps, so long I’m in the same room as the router and using my laptop with wifi 6.On the other side of the house, where my office is, it drops off. Still 500mbps give or take, but sometimes it gets congested and hung up for a second or two—which is not so great for Teams meetings.I saw this and had an “aha” moment, thinking it would be just the fix. Well, it is quite the opposite. Speeds WITHOUT it are 500-600 down, 300-400 up, with little to no packet loss.Speeds WITH it are all over the place, but are ALWAYS much lower and with a huge increase in packet loss (about 15-20%). Unless you’re using this on old outdated hardware, this will only slow you down.

Does the job…..period. Mine shoots through two walls.
Solves many problems at once! Blazing fast and use where Moca 2 does not work.Just like a wired ethernet but goes where cat 5 cable not desirable!!!!Just plug it in…move it a little here and there and it gets the job done!!!I have 2 sets just in case one dies, etc. can be back in say 30 minutes. It has two ethernet jacks so have two sources to connect to two items on end of line if need be!!!Either unit can be set to receive or send. NEVER let me down for over 2 years at our condo….leave on and zero setup needed.Got a problem where hard wired cable not doing so great…..get this. Period. As said before… does the job.And nice profile.

Very limited utility, singular use/ single device
What is not made clear in the description, is that this "router/ extender" is a single point to point extender. It is good for a gamer who wants a fast signal to their computer or game machine. It also uses only the 5g portion of the signal, and does not transmit the 2.4.... so it has made our network less than what it was by passing on a portion of the signal, and to only one device. So far we have not been able to get it to work as an extender (except in that limited context) My husband has a call in to their customer service) BUT I am not sure I want to use it as an extender because it would mean losing half of our signal (2.4g). While I would prefer to use the 5g to the extent possible, the 2.4g signal travels farther. Our entire house would no longer be covered if we use this as an extender... IF we can even get it to work. At the current time it is showing an internet signal but the router it is connected to no longer sends a signal, instead acting as an endpoint. This really is only good for connecting a single machine, and you will lose the 2.4 band if you set it up as a router or extender.I will revise this review if customer service helps get it working as a router or extender (for more than a single machine) however, I will not be using it because of the loss of the 2.4 signal. Updating tyo say that several days after my husband called we do not have a solution. I can only conclude that it was meant to be a single point extender and that using it as a router, or extender in a more general sense is a real stretch. We have removed it from our network, which is functioning a lot better without it.
