Q: How can i lock my monitors into position? i tried tightening the bolts on the side with no luck. i don’t want to return it. i just want it to work.

Maybe your monitors are Just too heavy? Mine feel heavy, too, but I was able to hold their weight up and tighten the bolts on the hinges with the tool that was included with all the other parts and it works. Or maybe you need the Loctite screw glue?

They are combined and one solid unit. So yes, you could do that, but you’ll have a second arm exposed. You could always move the laptop holder up higher to hide that, or just not care if you are not bothered by that sort of stuff.
