Great Deal

I'll say this was one of the easiest products to set up. They give a nice manual for setup with a step by step, but honestly you probably won't even need the manual because if you have the smarthome app open as soon as this device hits your network it detects and begins setup in the app then prompts you to add your remotes. I'm assuming the manual is really just for IF the initial connection fails. But anyways, this product is a fantastic deal. How many other remotes I've looked at cost an arm and a leg only to come with default options for remotes with no real learning capabilities. Then this one says screw that and allows you to copy any buttons you want and goes beyond allowing you to control it remotely from the internet, set timers, scenes, etc. It's better than I'd hopped for. Honestly I didn't really want to have to even use a remote for the device I was trying to control, the fact I can set this device with preset commands and forget it is great. I just set it to come on with an outlet in my house and did a preset key combo. Amazing! It's so nice to just not have to touch the stupid remote. It was such a weird remote too, but in the app you can clone any IR button in seconds from any remote to make custom remotes. I was very skeptical when I bought it but it was such a fast set up I spent more time thinking about how I wanted to automate it than I did connecting the device and setting up the remote. My only issue with this product is that "other" remotes a.k.a remotes that aren't recognized that you make yourself don't show up in google home. So you won't be using voice control for those odds and ends. Which is fine for me but depending on your needs may be an issue for you...Personally I just automated mine but that may not be something you want. Any recognized remote will show up immediately in google home.Still, for the money this device really can't be beat. The ability to set up any IR device, set schedules, key combinations, control from anywhere, etc. It's great, far more than a regular universal remote for a fraction of a normal universal remote. It's so small too, barely even noticeable.

Good WIFI Remote

Pretty decent . The device database isn't the best but IR learning was great. I have yet to find a wifi remote that hasthe IR strength of a Harmony Hub but this device does a decent job .Id give to 5 stars if the device database was more extensive and the IR blaster was stronger.

Buena Compra

Funciona muy bien, solo es tedioso al buscar dispositivos, ya que no salen algunas marcas

Very unstable

This blaster is very tiny which means you can tuck it away in tight spaces. That’s the good about it and also it’s not difficult to set up.The issue is that it is not very stable so at times you need to unplug and replug to connect again to devices. If you look at the device itself you will see at times the light blinks when it gets a command but nothing happens until you disconnect and reconnect to power other than that it’s great when it’s working

Bueno

Para su precio es bueno ya que sólo deja conectar 1 dispositivo en el sitio dónde lo ubiques.Funciona super con el wifi

Controls my Samsung TV from 30 feet

The phone app for this device works like a remote control device for my TV. I can control my TV from long distances, 30 feet from my dining room to the family room. Pairing the device with my phone was easy. Great value!

Almost perfect

I bought this IR device to control the Daiken split unit AC in my bedroom. I used the Smart Life app, and by extension Alexa, to control it. Smart Life added it in with no issues. Except one and a half.Issue number one. I don't know why this is, but when I use the IR controller to turn the split unit on or off, it shuts down the Daiken split unit "weekly" function. This means that the internal unit timer will not function. You then have to use either Smart Life or Alexa as the timer. This is not such a big deal but is quite puzzling and you should know about it.Issue one point five. Be aware that IR controllers like this product do not communicate well to the native AC remote. If you use the AC remote to control the AC, the IR (and Alexa) may not be aware of the current status. For example, if you turn on the AC with the IR then remote (and Alexa) may still think the AC is off. If you turn on the AC with the remote, the IR (and Alexa) may still think the unit is off.I can live with these issues because I want to turn on the AC unit before I hit my bedroom. That overrides the few flaws with the IR remote. In summary, the IR controller is a cost effective option rather than spend $250+ for the Daiken Alexa add-on which would be required for each split unit head. Furthermore, these IR units claim they can control multiple IR devices. I did not test this function but theoretically it could control your TV. This means that you can control the TV by voice using Alexa. However, I don't think it can replace all the functions of the remote.
