Yet another trash usb drive on amazon
When I insert this drive into any of my systems it will either work, not show up, or lock up whatever file manager I'm using. Doesn't depend on the format (exfat/ntfs...) , the os, or the type of systerm. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it freezes file browsing until I yank it out of the port. There is an epidemic of garbage usb drives on amazon. Each seems to have its own problems and every manufacturer's version of support every time is that it's not their problem.

Compatibility Issues
I run a computer repair business and I bought this because it seems to be a high quality flash drive, but there are major compatibility issues with some computers. In about 50% of the computers I tested, it would freeze and lock up the entire computer (and unfreeze as soon as you unplugged it). I did a low level format on the drive but it still froze up computers, so I exchanged it. The new drive did the same thing. If I had to guess I'd say there's a firmware bug of some kind, or maybe they just got a bad batch. Either way, I wouldn't trust this drive and neither should you. I ended up going with the Transcend JetFlash 780. It's a much older model, and slower too, but it it's a true flash drive (not an SSD with a bridge chip like this one) and also uses MLC NAND. They still sell and produce the 780 even 12 years later. That should tell you the confidence they have in the reliability of that model. If you just want a fast, reliable flash drive and don't need high write endurance, I would recommend the TeamGroup Spark LED flash drive. It's much faster than this drive (this drive uses a SATA to USB interface) because it uses an NVMe to USB interface. Just be aware that write endurance is much lower than the 780 so if you're writing a lot of data to the drive on a regular basis, you should go with the 780.
