Bolted this on in place of the worn out original on my mower, connected the fuel line and it fired right up. Two years later, still works a treat, even with my indifferent off-season storage and maintenance.

I had an old lawn mower that had sat for a long time. Fresh gas and this new carb and it starts and runs great. Matches the orinal exactly.

Bought this for my Toro 22" Self Propelled mower with Tecumseh engine. The original equipment carb actually had more plastic on it than this replacement. For instance the original equipment carb had a plastic fuel inlet whereas this new carb has a metal inlet. The casting of this carb is not the cleanest but that doesn't seem to affect performance. My mower runs like new with this carb. I hope it lasts a long time but even if I have to replace it every year it would cost less than taking it to a mechanic for a cleaning or rebuild every few years.

Yeah, anyways, the carb on my mower got all gummed up with bad gas over the winter. I know I’m supposed to empty it. Which I did. I even removed the bowl. But it still wouldn’t fire up once spring came around. Since I had replaced the original carb in the fall with this one from Amazon, and it was cheap, I just ordered another one. In fact, a lawnmower service would have been upwards of $100 to make the thing run again. But, since this carb was inexpensive, I simply placed another order for one, and in a few days it showed up in my mailbox. After installing it, and coaxing the engine along a little bit, the mower fired right up and has been each week since. I do, though, have to push the primer button a bunch of times before it fires up. But, once running, it’s usually good to go, and helps me in my mission of keeping the grass at bay. Also to note: before I was using the regular unleaded gas that goes in cars, but since I put on the new carb, I’ve been using only the non-oxy gas. I’ve heard it helps, so we’ll see. I’ll also be putting some Stabil in the tank as I lay the mower down for his long winter nap.

I was looking for a replacement carb for my Toro 22" Recycler push mower with a 6.5HP Tecumseh engine and this was a perfect fit. An original OEM carb may run you about $75.00... so this one for just over $10 did the job just fine.Once installed, 4 primes on the carb, and 2 pulls on the recoil and it's up and running smooth!The specs for the Toro Recycler push mower engine I am referencing are as follows:Tecumseh engine model # is: LEV120-362004AOEM Tecumseh model number carburetor is: 640350Note: The aftermarket carb I received actually came with a brass emulsion tube instead of the plastic one that was in the OEM carb I was working one... nice upgrade (you can see the tip of the emulsion tube when you open the butterfly and look through the chamber).

Worked well for a year and didn't work after sitting for the winter. I thoroughly cleaned out the lawnmower before storage but every year I had to rebuild the carb because it wouldn't start. I think it has more to do with the design of the carb than the carb itself. What I did like was that all I had to do was remove and replace with this carb, no rebuilding and it was only 6 bucks more than a rebuild kit.

I love this carburetor. It is a bolt on component. Everything fits great and the mower roars back to life just like new. I had disassembled and cleaned the original carburetor twice and I was able to get the mower running but it stuttered. Now, with this entirely brand new carburetor the mower engine runs at a steady speed and it takes no more than two pull to start. For the cost of this carb from now on I will simply replace carburetor and will not bother to disassemble and clean anymore.One thing about this purchase is one have to be patient. The delivery time is rather long. If you don't have patience it is best to order an extra unit and keep it in your part inventory for instant switching.

This was a great purchase for me! I couldn't easily repair the old Tecumseh carburetor on my Toro mower (problem with primer system), so I ended up buying this unit from Everest. It came in about 4-5 days after I ordered it, and it was EXACTLY like the old unit on my mower. I bolted it on, poured gas into the tank, pumped the primer bulb 3 or 4 times, and pulled the starter cord once. It started running IMMEDIATELY!! No adjustments needed, engine runs smoothly and with sufficient power. Well worth the few dollars they are asking for the carb!!!

Worked fine. Factory settings were right on.

2 or 3 day delivery. Came with gasket. No screws..jfyi. saved time taking apart old carburetor to clean and re assemble. Some times carburetor just gets too worn out.No guess work and time saved. Rebuild carburetor in the slow season..

Works great so far the only problem was the crankcase vet tube fitting is not the same size

As most have commented you need to trim some plastic to make it fit but a stout pair of snips will see you through. Apart from that, The Carberator works very well on my Wild Thing saw.Ps I have no idea what 'Stretch' means to rate something. It's not spandex.

This fit perfectly, you just need to switch over the air intake from the old carb to this, I did have to adjust it, but it’s a few simple turns of the adjustment screw on top. This is easier and almost the same price as it would be to buy the parts and rebuild it.
