- Suited for most 1911 guide rods having a reverse spring plug.
Provides a simple method of compressing reverse spring plug type guide rod assembles typically found in bushing less (bull barrel) 1911s. Will accommodate most 5" and shorter barreled 1911s. Rubber bumper holds guide rod butt plate securely while the fork will accommodate any spring plug with diameter of 0.499" or less that has a lip on the spring plug larger than 0.510". Made from cold rolled steel stock and finished with a black oxide finish.
