Finally, an easy way to make my older saw safer - much safer
Like other reviewers here, the supplied drill bit is garbage. Please don't use it without checking its straightness. Mine was at lease .30 out of true so into the garbage it went. I'm glad I read the reviews first. I had to read and re-read the directions but installation is pretty straight forward. I have a Rigid table saw that uses the old Craftsman style 1/8th in thick metal plate. No riving knife and probably impossible to adapt a true riving knife. Great saw for the price otherwise. I've got decades of experience on older saws from before when riving knives were common, but I have a younger friend without a ton of experience who sometimes works in my shop. This helps ease my mind that he will remain unhurt by a nasty kickback. And I find in my older years that I can be a little spacey or absent minded and make mistakes before I realize that I'm doing something bone-headed. How I'd hate to lose my fingers or worse at this stage in my craftsmanship. Any safety improvements are entirely welcome.

A needed safety feature
It took some adapting to make it usable on my zero clearance but works perfectly. Now kickback.

Product is great but it’s the customer assistance that shines.
Yes this product easily and effectively helped to make an older table saw much safer. Easy to install and the written directions along with an available video are more than you find with many products these days. What really impressed me was the high level of customer service. One of the teeth on one splitter broke taking it out of the package (they fit very tight inside the plastic). Contacted the company and found them to be nothing but friendly, helpful, understanding, and easy to work with. They sent out a new piece with no hesitation relieving me from the need to send the entire item back. Would recommend to anyone

Should have gotten this a long time ago.
I have an old Sears Craftsman TS, circa early 90's. It didn't come with a real riving knife. Bought a Zero Clearance Insert a few years ago. Usually don't have a problem with pinching with oak. Started ripping some poplar and the first cut pinched and I stopped and ordered the Micro Jig (as the nearest retailer is a bit of a drive).I waited a whole week before installing it. Not sure why, other than I didn't have a suitable scrap of 1/2" MDF to use. But once I did, the installation was straight forward. The back hole is over the lip in the insert opening for supporting the inserts. The instructions covered that. The jig has storage for the drill bit, but not the 4 screws. Not enough of an imagination by the designers, I guess. I'd knock off a half star if I could.Returned to ripping the poplar and it worked perfectly. I like the ability to push the cut against the fence with the different inserts.

Decently
These are great in theory but they break a little too easy. I am still using the one that works best but one of the the plastic inserts broke off the second time I used it. I plan to keep using this for now but a it's definitely a pain since I will have to buy a few of them.

Check 811 before you drill.
I have a Ridgid 45** contractor table saw. Following the instructions caused me to need the last hole to be drilled into the insert plate ledge. If you don't want to drill through the metal, just shorten the outfeed end of the setup board about 1/4". The instruction page says to read the entire thing before you start. Definitely recommended. It will save some confusion as to which end/side is which on the setup board. Otherwise, a pretty straightforward job with good results.
