Cheap, plug and play, and stable connection - which is all I care about. It's not the fastest dongle around and you'll get a better connection from a standalone thing with dedicated aerials but I always find them to have such poor reliability compared to these. I've got it working on Windows 7, windows 10, and Windows 2012 Server. No issues with any of it.Plug it in and forget. If you need hyper low latency because you're a gamer...... Use an ethernet cable. This has been perfectly sufficient to stream video in 4K.

I can't recommend this cheap adaptor enough. I bought it to replace an ailing adaptor and I don't regret the purchase.Installation was quick and easy by running the included setup program. The adaptor shows up as a USB drive where the program is located so no need to search the internet for drivers. Once installed it connected immediately to our WiFi network on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.So far it's been reliable and fast. I will update this review if anything goes astray but I don't think I will have to.

Windows 10 and 11 has a sub edition called "S"You can t run the executable in the virtual installation drive if you have Windows s.You will another pc to download drivers.Works greàt with other windows editions.

Absolutely brilliant. Was gifted a computer which needed an Ethernet cable. Computer is on the opposite side of the house so didn’t want wires going all the way through. So got the wireless Ethernet plugs which didn’t work and then found this. Plugged it in and it worked straight away! Brilliant! Would recommend to anyone needing a way to connect to internet

Using it on a Linux System, works on my PC but does not work on the raspberry pi.

This is a great little gadget (wish i had known about these before my partner purchased a new laptop for me when wifi stopped working ) anyway now i have a spare laptop due to this gadget , it's very easy to install,highly recommend this product and would buy again if needed

Deary deary deary me. What a hideous install path. The vendor provides a deb; but this fails. It's meant for older kernels. There are reports within forums that some people got it to work but I tried on a couple of different OS with no joy, (debian and ubuntu 24.04). It will show as a storage device most times using lsusb. I did manage to eventually use dkms to compile to get this to work. TBH its going on a throwaway VM using passthrough on proxmox for a jailbreaking project - if its going on baremetal avoid this adaptor like the plague; it will butcher your OS.

This really has turned out to be a great little wireless device for me.Installation under Windows 10 was straight forward, no need to use the driver cd supplied - I just plugged it in and the device was recognised straight away, then entered my encryption key and it connected to the Internet.I use this on my desktop pc which is in a different room to my router, and there are two solid walls between them.Signal strength is excellent with a good through put of data, I have not experienced any drop outs in the connection as yet.Very pleased with the performance of this device, considering the low price.
