Q: \we bought this filter to replace the hayward1200. the plastic rings fell off during install. pvc cylinder looks strong enough. do i need the rings?

I would call the company if your talking about the outside ive had them fall out if its from the inside that should not happen, I'd call them ive had mine since last August 2020 and its foing ok but I started using the pool this w/e may 7th and 8th the blue seal from the top cut my hands I had cuts all over me so be be careful. I have to call company and let them know there making a top that cuts hands as your taking filter out of canister. Like I said if its rings from inside that should not happen. Hope this helps.

Q: Anyone else experience a faster water flow rate when using this filter compared to others? Its almost like no filter is installed; no back pressure.

It is a much better filter than I have used before. It seems to be more free flowing. I do seem to have a freer flow
