Works great and compatible with my current eufy system.

I purchased a couple of these entry sensors in addition to the Eufy Security 5-Piece Home Alarm Kit, which is equipped with just two sensors. The delivery was promptly and well-packed. These were installed following the installation of the 5-piece kit. Once, installed and synchronized with the home base, they were added to the controller app, they have been working perfectly thus far. The only negative that I can see with these sensors are the magnet housing, where on some porous surface like an unpainted door frame, the sticky pad in the back was not strong enough against the magnetic tendency to pull it toward the sensor, so I tried to keep it in place with the provided screw; however, that did not worked-out satisfactory b/c the plastic base of the housing was not sturdy, the plastic housing is a little flimsy, and the screw head is tiny. So, to fix it, I had to fabricate a little bracket to hold the magnet assembly in place.Recommendation to Eufy: improve the magnet housing assembly by making it a little wider and sturdier along with a larger screw that is capable of holding it down securely.

Great sensor. Item shipped and arrived super fast. Syncing with my home base 2 was super easy, as was customizing the settings and functionality for the sensor. Install was super easy, with the attached adhesive pads, though I put one of the included screws in to make sure it stays place.

Love these camera - very reliable with great picture. Weatherproofing could be better but all in all good value. You can purchase a weatherproof sleeve but gave four stars because I don’t feel like you should need to do this for a camera sold as an outdoor camera

The media could not be loaded. I bought 3 of these after our home was robbed. They work great and communicate very well with the home base unit, very responsive. As soon as a door opens, you’ll hear the chime.One thing to note is that the little unit is magnetic in addition to having 3M tape, so if your doors aren’t magnetic, you will need to stick it on. The large unit must be stuck on with 3M tape only. You can see what I mean in the video.Great product! 5/5.

Want to have your lights automatically turn on when you open the door as you come home at night? Forget it. At least with Alexa and this product.These entry sensors seem to work really well within the Eufy ecosystem. They’re easy to install and to connect to the homebase. However, at the time I purchased them the Eufy website listed them as compatible with Alexa. Alexa does recognize them and can read the status of the sensor, but for some unknown reason they do not work in routines. In other words, you can’t actually use the door status within Alexa to do anything useful. After a few back and forths with Eufy customer service they acknowledged this limitation. What really disappoints me is the misleading information on the Eufy website that suggests a working compatibility.
