A low-cost way to play those vinyls, in a compact player.
This is an entry-level record player. It does what it says it will do.If you want the sound of a $250 turntable run through a $500 multi-function amp, played through stereo speakers, go spend $1,000 at a stereo store. This record player plays record through probably a $10 speaker, so yes, it might sound tinny or lacking depth. However to make up for that built-in speaker, it comes with a 3.5mm line in cord that can connect record player headphone jack to an external speaker. I connected my to portable JBL Bluetooth speaker and it had sound to fill the room. It also comes with the RCA cables to connect to external speakers, of your budget and choosing. Most notable item is the lid. It comes with a spring hinge to keep lid up and more importantly, it has front and side cut outs which allows one to close lid over a playing record. These cut-outs allow for a compact size. This is a great add to a den, craft room or even a kids room. It fits the bill to play vinyl. I don’t consider this to be a record player you pair with a stereo amplifier.

Decent
Looks great, is light in weight, it's compact and is easy to set-up. However, it's not very loud. It is loud enough for a small room, but not loud to hear throughout multiple rooms or over your house and cooking chores. The sound is pretty basic, not much depth. I tried hooking the system up to my vintage speakers but the sound quality is extremely poor (this could be user error). It's a decent player and easily functions with my phone. Value:price ratio is good.

Good player
For 20 buck it is a steal. This player plays great, quality of sound is great. people say that for better quality you should connect to the speaker but honestly I think this is good.

Nifty Little Record Player for Beginners
Very cute and quaint. It made a great gift. However, the speaker's volume and quality are lacking. Still, not a bad product for the price. The Bluetooth feature is to receive from a Bluetooth device, not project to a Bluetooth speaker. That is important to know! Everything worked well and we had no problems at all. Very nostalgic!

My dog likes it
Surpringly better qaulity than I expected. That being said, I had no expectations since I got this for my dog and her dusty, old, bent up vinyls. The cover protects her from poking her eye out when she boops it (she's learning to DJ). The sound is on par with other built in speakers. Gets plenty loud. An audiophile wouldn't love it, but Tokki is a dog, so she's having a great time.
