Whether you use ankle weights for a workout or if you just wear them while you walk for a bit of enhanced exercise, these weights can provide a number of benefits. This is because a good number of exercises require that you lift your ankles up off of the ground. They can be added to stationary exercises that you do with a machine, such as leg lifts or raises. They can also be helpful in increasing your workout when you're walking or running. Ankle weights can be a good way to help strengthen other muscles in your body as well. For instance, if you attach ankle weights to your ankles before you perform a set of pull-ups, your arms and upper body muscles will have a greater amount of weight to lift up in each repetition. This can therefore help to strengthen those muscles more than they normally would be strengthened through the same exercise as well. The ankle / wrist weights are made of soft fabric and secured using 1 - 2 Velcro straps(depending on weight), quick touch closure. Total weight is split between both weights. e.g. 1 KG = 2 x 0.5KG

Much better than the huge sand filled ankle weights
Much better than the huge sand filled ankle weights. I have quite large wrists and hands (thumb) so found them a bit snug - saying that they still work okay. They really hardly move at all.

Overall quite good quality, the weight itself is intact after 8+ months and 3x weekly use. Velcro is starting to come through the piping and scratch skin, but still serves its purpose.

Great- with some drawbacks
The weights are very good on your wrist, however they are a bit small, this is where the product lacks as they are quite small for your ankles- therefore probably wouldn't fit most ankles.However great for your wrists!!
